AKTOR, as leader of the ALYSJ multinational joint venture, is assigned the implementation of the Design and Construction project of the ‘Gold Line’ of the Metro in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The ‘Gold Line’ project is by far the largest independent construction project of the Doha Metro, involving the construction of a 23.3 km underground tunnel of a 6.17 metres diameter, an underground depot at a total length of 650 metres, a central cooling plant for three of the stations, as well as 10 underground stations of high-end architecture based on innovative high tech automations, complex station smoke exhaust systems in case of fire, and state of the art MEP systems.
