Dimitrios Kallitsantsis is one of the founders of ELLAKTOR S.A. He is also a founder and active member of various companies in the construction and energy industries, also involving public concessions projects.
From 1982 he served as Vice President at Elliniki Technodomiki S.A. In 1999 following the capital stock collaboration agreement between AKTOR S.A. and Elliniki Technodomiki S.A. he became Managing Director of AKTOR S.A. and remained in this role until November 2016. In parallel, following the transfer of the construction divisions of Elliniki Technodomiki S.A. and TEV S.A. to AKTOR S.A., he was appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of ELLAKTOR S.A.
During his tenure as Managing Director of AKTOR, having the responsibility of building projects, he completed emblematic projects such as the Olympic Stadium, the Olympic Village and the International Broadcasting Centre for the 2004 Olympic Games, the Athens Concert Hall, Acropolis Museum and the Costa Navarino Resort. He has also completed significant projects in the UAE, Oman and Qatar.
Dimitrios Kallitsantsis is a Greek national and an architect with a degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1975).
Konstantinos Mathiopoulos is the Vice-Chairman of AKTOR S.A.
He joined the company in 1981 where has held management positions with responsibility for developing and executing large-scale projects. He has more than 35 years of experience in the areas of construction management and executing building and industrial projects.
He holds an MSc degree in Civil Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1977).
Charalambos Sofianos has a graduate degree from National Technical University of Athens in civil engineering.
After his military service, he worked as a freelancer in construction of private projects.
He was president of the Technical Chamber of Greece (Western Crete section) during 1983-1990.
He worked as a technical advisor of OSSAYK SPE (Building society) during 1989-1995, in Chania Crete, for the urban planning and the infrastructure of a 600 acres area.
He was the Secretary-General of Region of Central Macedonia and the Secretary-General of Ministry of Health during 1996-2004.
As an executive of HELECTOR S.A. since 2007, he was the Construction manager responsible in some of the biggest projects of the company (in the field of waste and energy management) in Greece, until 2018 when he took over as CEO of HELECTOR S.A.
Ioannis – Eleftherios Margiolos is the Director of Water Business Unit of AKTOR S.A, since 2001. He is the Project Director of all water and wastewater treatment projects of the company and its subsidiaries, in Greece and abroad.
Between 1994 and 2001, he served as Engineering, Procurement, Project Manager and Executive Manager of various projects for the company Elliniki Technodomiki S.A.. Between 1982 and 1994 he served as Project Manager for various infrastructure works both for public and private sector.
He holds an MSc degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (NTUA, 1980).
Vassiliki (Valy) Niatsou is an attorney at-law and is working for the ELLAKTOR Group since 1995. She was involved in the public works projects for seven years. In 2012 she was the Head of Legal of the environment sector until December 2018, while in 2015 she was appointed the Head of Legal of ELLAKTOR S.A. until July 2018. In 2008 she was appointed the Head of Legal of the concessions sector. She is participating in the Board of Directors of AKTOR Concessions since 2007 and in the Board of Directors of HELECTOR S.A. since 2012, respectively.
She has over twenty years of international experience, specialization and know how in concession projects and in the financing of high standard infrastructure projects in Greece and abroad, as she was involved in the participation in public tenders, negotiation, signing and financing of significant concession contracts, such as indicatively: the Athens Ring Road (Attiki Odos), the Korinthos-Tripoli-Kalamata Motorway, the Patra-Pyrgos-Tsakona Motorway, the Cyprus Airport, Casino Mont Parnes privatization, the development of the Afandou Golf in Rhodos, the Pafos-Poli Motorway in Cyprus, the Mafraq Ghweifat Motorway, the Comarnic-Brasov Motorway in Romania, the Greek Regional Airports, the Development of the Alimos Marina, the Egnatia Motorway, the Waste treatment facility in St Petersburg Russia, the Waste treatment facility in Kozani and other waste treatment and infrastructure PPP projects in Greece and abroad.
She studied law in the University of Athens (1992), tax law in the Athens University of Economics and Business and business administration in the Henley Business School.
George Skouteropoulos is an HELECTOR executive for more than 10 years having the role of Finance Manager while, since March 2016, he is the Cypriot Operations Director of HELECTOR. He has been elected as member of HELECTOR Board of Directors since March 2016.
George Skouteropoulos is a graduate of University of Piraeus, faculty of Financial Banking and Management, while he holds a postgraduate degree from University of York.
Aristomenis Georgakopoulos is a Chemical Engineer with a PhD from the University of Aston in Birmingham.
For 35 years he is working in the field of environmental protection works as a designer as well as in the construction and operation of such works.
In the last 20 years as senior staff in AKTOR, he has been involved in the construction and operation of important works in the field wastewater treatment and solid waste management in Greece and abroad.
